Sogeti France, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Cap Gemini S.A, has been chosen by leading energy company Total to manage the IT production center of its Exploration & Production branch. The five-year contract amounts to tens of millions of euros through a results-engaging model. The organization set up by Sogeti will involve a team of more than 120 people and will predominantly be located in the southwest of France, mainly in Pau.
Sogeti France will become the outsourcing partner of Total's Exploration & Production branch and will provide Total with dynamic innovation that will make its Exploration & Production branch benefit from a high level of IT system performance. Sogeti will be responsible for setting up the organization and processes, with the task of ensuring industrialization and innovative production-oriented solutions, specifically in providing Total with the most effective systems industrialization tools, management capacity and ensuring Total's evolution towards Cloud Computing.
