AIX-LES-BAINS, France, March 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The CPV Consortium, a global industry organization that supports the development and long-term success of the Concentrator Photovoltaics (CPV) industry, announces the opening of registration for CPV-11: the premier technical conference in the areas of high- and low-concentration PV components, modules, and tracker-based CPV systems.
For the first time in its history, the CPV conference will be held in France, from April 13-15, 2015 in Aix-les-Bains hosted by CEA's CPV Laboratory, located at the National Solar Energy Institute (INES). Attendees will engage in a series of live discussions and interactive sessions, as well as a technical tour to INES. With up to 400 participants from more than 30 countries, it is one of the leading conferences in the field of CPV technology globally.
"We are glad and proud to host this conference at CEA. We are committed to continuing the CPV conference series as the most relevant event for the scientific exchange and the fostering of international collaboration in the field of concentrator photovoltaics systems," says Anis Jouini, Head of Department of Solar Technologies at CEA. "It will be a huge opportunity for project developers, technologists, financiers, academics and students to engage in lively discussion of the state-of-the-art CPV cells and modules, trackers, and power plant installations."
We welcome and thank the sponsors of the conference. As the premier international conference in all areas of high and low concentration PV components, systems, trackers and installations, it is the ideal platform for companies to sponsor the conference or showcase their company.
