The event which was held on Friday 22nd August was a beach themed party, which included a beach area, a beach themed cake, ice cream stall and donkeys for the children to ride. The Mayor, who attended alongside his wife, also delivered a wonderful speech in which he praised the quality of nursery and pre-school and suggested that Kingston as a community can benefit from such a nursery. He then thanked Naomi Manunta, Nursery Manager, and the Deputy, Natasha Mash, for organising such a fun community event.
The impressive 73 place nursery, which was formerly a doctor's surgery, opened on 27th May. The nursery is located just a 10 minute walk from the town centre and Kingston train station and offers two drop-off car parking spaces, making it ideal for commuting parents. The nursery also boasts a large outdoor space complete with look-out tower for children of all ages to learn, play and explore in, alongside individual rooms which are tailored to stimulate age and stage appropriate learning and development using our bespoke activity programmes.
Nursery Manager of kidsunlimited Kingston, Naomi Manunta, said, "I would like to thank everyone who came along to support us for our official opening, the day was a great success. Since opening our doors in May the nursery has gone from strength to strength. Everyone who visits can't help but be impressed with our facilities, the nursery really does offer an environment in which children can flourish and love learning forever."
