Kooomo, Europe's Leading Digital Commerce Platform, Continues its Rapid Rise With Entry into the Gartner Magic Quadrant
Kooomo, the Irish-based, cloud digital commerce platform used by some of the world's largest brands, announced today it has been recognised by respected business analysts Gartner, as a world-leading platform, with entry in the "2017 Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce" research report. The recognition builds on Kooomo's status as a Gartner "Cool Vendor in Digital Commerce 2016", and follows another remarkable year for Kooomo, which saw the firm increase customers' online sales by 40%.
Entry into the Gartner Magic Quadrant - recognised as the power-list of global digital commerce providers - has been welcomed by Kooomo, as it continues its mission to re-define digital commerce by creating the world's most accessible and simple-to-use digital commerce platform.
Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce report highlighted three strengths:
- Kooomo's feature set - "Kooomo covers a significant breadth of integrated functionality around the commerce core, while remaining open to third-party integration"
- Kooomo's one click integration - "Kooomo contains a large marketplace of over 190 prebuilt integrations to ecosystem applications and services available without customisation or programming." Referencing the platform's 90 day turnaround capability the report acknowledged that this integration "helps significantly with time to market and platform extension".
- Kooomo's TCO - "Kooomo offers considerable savings over equivalent feature-rich products from other vendors. All of its reference customers were very satisfied with the platform's overall value proposition".
Ciaran Bollard, Managing Director at Kooomo said:
"It's another huge endorsement for Kooomo to have been recognised by Gartner as one of the world's leading digital commerce providers. We see Kooomo as the Apple of digital commerce, with a cloud platform that's full of features to scale any business, but designed with simplicity and the end-user in mind.
A great example is how we empower businesses to go global. With one login to Kooomo, customers can sell globally supporting all currencies and VAT rates across all sales channels including eBay and Amazon. Research by eMarketer expects retail digital commerce sales will increase to $4.058 trillion in 2020, which will represent 14.6% of total global retail.
As a result, brands simply cannot afford not to develop a strong digital commerce presence, both in Ireland and internationally. We empower our customers to do just that."
