On 3 February 2011 Deloitte honoured four medium-sized companies from North Rhine-Westphalia in the Hotel Intercontinental in Düsseldorf with the "Axia Award 2010" for pioneering innovative strength. ifm electronic won the award in the category "Future-oriented customer cooperation - from the customer idea to innovation."
