TREVISO, Italy, September 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
- DeLclima HPAC units installed in the new Data Center in Bogotà.
DeLclima, through its subsidiary Climaveneta, has supplied 10 units to the new TelefonicaDataCenter in Bogotà.
Telefónica has been present in Colombia since 2004. It began its activities in the mobile market, following the acquisition of Bellsouth's cellular operation in the country. Subsequently, in 2006, Telefónica acquired the control and management of Colombia Telecom. Today, Telefónica provides voice, broadband and pay television services in the country.
Telefónica has Data Centers in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Germany, Czech Republic and Spain.
The new building in Colombia is cooled by 10 i-ACCURATE units for a total installed cooling capacity of 1240 kW. The close control units, air cooled, with inverter compressors
and for vertical installation have been installed to provide precise temperature and humidity control in the server room.
The inverter compressor allows the cooling capacity modulation according to the real internal load, which are particularly efficient at partial loads, optimizing the power absorbed and eliminating the start current.
DeLclima's range presents itself as the ideal solution to match the most demanding requirements of Datacenter designers and managers in terms of reliability, efficiency, flexibility and lowest cost of ownership.
