BERLIN, May 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
On May 31st, Camunda has released Camunda BPM 7.5, the newest version of the open source software platform for Business Process Management (BPM). Camunda BPM 7.5 can be downloaded for free at https://camunda.org .
New features include a modeling tool which implements the IT industry standard CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation). This allows case management models to be graphically created and executed in the Camunda BPM engine.
In addition, extensive improvements have been made to better facilitate long-running processes. If process instances are active for days, weeks or months, the question of migration often arises: How can process instances that were started in version 1 of a process model, continue in version 2? With Camunda BPM 7.5, a new solution approach has been implemented, which allows a graphical mapping of versions to ensure the smooth continuation of the affected processes.
Due to its lightweightness and embeddability, Camunda BPM is often used by software as a service providers who want to integrate workflow capabilities into their products. An important aspect here is Multitenancy, which has been greatly improved and expanded in Camunda BPM 7.5. This allows a SaaS provider to ensure data isolation between different customers ("tenants") in a very convenient way.
Camunda BPM 7.5 will be presented in a free webinar on June 1st at 11am EST (5pm CET):
