Balich Worldwide Shows Announces the Top Management Organisation Leading the Company

Launched last December, Balich Worldwide Shows S.r.l., a company operating at worldwide level in entertainment and show business, has now officially announced its management structure. Marco Balich, President, Gianmaria Serra, C.E.O. and Simone Merico, Vice-President and Business Director will lead the company which, although only recently set up, can already take credit for the production of three Olympic Ceremonies, those of Sochi 2014.

Marco Balich is one of the most highly valued Olympic Producers and the Creative Director of major international events and ceremonies as well as the winner of two Emmy Awards;  Gianmaria Serra is  one of the best known Executive Producers of global events; Simone Merico is a manager with exceptional vision and considerable experience in running and developing leading events companies.

These three partners, who can draw on twenty years of experience in the large-scale events world, are thus joining forces, combining their various skills and a shared vision to create a new enterprise that is already showing its worth in the most important global events.

In addition to the Artistic Direction of the Italian Pavilion at EXPO 2015, assigned to Marco Balich, the company has been entrusted with the design, Artistic Direction and Executive Production of the "Albero della Vita" (Tree of Life), the symbolic icon of the Italian Pavilion at the 2015 Universal Exposition in Milan.

On the Olympic front, Marco Balich has been appointed as Executive Producer of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
