While all the adventures have been proved popular with our entrants, already reaching 1 million votes, some really have grabbed their attention. Here are the five most popular choices so far:
1. Hike The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
The 88km hike up to the famous ancient city of Machu Picchu is South America's most famous trek. It passes through pretty much every single Andean hiking environment travellers can think of - from ruined Incan settlements to thick forest to vast alpine landscape - all without the risk of altitude sickness.
2. Go on safari in Kruger Park
Kruger National Park is South Africa's flagship park and one of the most famous parks of Africa. It is the largest game reserve in Africa and one of the world's biggest wildlife sanctuaries. With its huge variety of wildlife, the park should be on the itinerary of every visitor to South Africa.
3. Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is where you'll find some of the most amazing and colourful sea creatures in existence. Take a dive and explore the living, breathing, organismic structure that provides a home to thousands of species of the deep, and experience the greatest underwater safari there is.
4. Full Moon Party - Thailand
One of the biggest parties on earth, this is the pick if you want to remember your trip as a raucous cavalcade of neon lights, glow sticks, booze by the bucket and throwing shapes on the sand.
5. InterRail in Europe
A whole continent - rich with culture, history and some of the most incredible cuisines known to man - all at your fingertips. Make it what you want; a naturalistic adventure of alpine forests and mountain peaks, a tour to gorge on the greatest gastronomic splendour or one long party train to all the top night life spots in Europe.
As part of the competition, valid until the 30th of June, Hostelworld produced a video of an offline stunt. We brought the spirit of travel to shoppers in London's Westfield Shopping Centre by setting up a series of scenarios, using a mixture of augmented reality and live actors. We filmed the public's reactions and captured how they interacted with what was happening.
