Alger Launches Euro-denominated Share Class to Complement SICAV Line-Up

Fred Alger Management, Inc., a leading asset management firm, today announced that it has launched euro-denominated share classes for Alger SICAV, a Luxembourg UCITS vehicle.

Alger SICAV makes three sub-funds available to non-U.S. investors: The Alger American Asset Growth Fund, Alger Emerging Markets Fund, and Alger Dynamic Opportunities Fund. The launch of the euro-denominated share classes complements the existing U.S. dollar-denominated sub-funds. Investors in the euro-denominated sub-funds will be able to track the Net Asset Value (NAV) in euros.

"Investors who reside in Eurozone countries will now have the ability to invest in any of Alger SICAV's sub-funds in euros or dollars," said Dan Chung, CEO and Chief Investment Officer. "This ensures investors have maximum flexibility and convenience. Investors will no longer have to exchange euros into dollars, which can be costly and subject investors to currency fluctuations," added Dan.

Alger SICAV - The Alger American Asset Growth Fund, managed by Patrick Kelly, CFA and Ankur Crawford, Ph.D. of Fred Alger Management, Inc. (the sub-portfolio manager/investment adviser to Alger SICAV), invests primarily in U.S.-domiciled companies across all market caps with a current bias toward large caps, that demonstrate promising growth potential. Patrick, who has 18 years of investment experience, has served as Portfolio Manager since 2004 and Ankur, who has 11 years of investment experience, was named Portfolio Manager earlier this year.
