Warsaw gains ever greater tourist recognition

WARSAW, Poland, Oct. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- When Warsaw won the European Best Destination 2023 competition in February this year, interest in the city grew markedly. Although it is situated in the heart of Europe with good air and rail connections, the capital of Poland is still a little-known metropolis. Visitors are delighted by the Old Town, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Warsaw's Old Town was almost completely destroyed by the Nazis, but immediately after the end of the Second World War, the city's residents set about its reconstruction.
