Remini, a secure 'niche' free app for child-centric family networking, recently passed the 12,000 users mark and shared a record 70,000 photos last month.

Designed for building a child's life story by a child's parents, family and preschool teachers, pictures and other everlasting memories can be organized into albums like a digital scrapbook and all actions are completely private.
With some calling it the next Instagram, the number of users include hundreds of preschool teachers excited about Remini's easy to use platform and ability to foster parent/teacher engagement.

So how does Remini work? Parents can use the app independently by setting up a child's profile, and inviting family or friends to be fans of that child. Parents then upload a picture, text, or video (a Remini) of the child and fans can comment or 'heart' it.
Teachers, meanwhile, can set up a class profile (or profiles if applicable), invite parents to a class, and upload materials from the school day. When teachers want to share materials with parents they tag a specific child or entire class. Parents included in the process receive a notification including the option to add the item to a child's timeline.
Through user feedback, Remini found this option to be of immense importance, especially for parents returning to work and suddenly finding themselves experiencing separation anxiety.
The app has even proved to be instrumental in changing some dynamics in the classroom.
As Remini co-founder Doron Oded recalled, "Earlier in the school year we heard from one preschool administrator that a teacher who wasn't performing well improved performance dramatically after Remini became the school's primary tool for documenting class activities and sharing with parents."
The teacher needed to up the level of engagement in the classroom and the app provided that opportunity.
At the end of the day, instead of scattering a child's memories across platforms (Facebook, Gmail, etc), Remini is a place dedicated to the child where both parents and teachers retain full rights to all uploaded materials.
