Flexioffices - one of the UK's leading providers of serviced office space - has carried out a nationwide survey of 2,009 recipients to discover the UK's 10 most valued work perks. The results act as an excellent pointer for UK businesses and business owners when deciding on their employee perks and benefits in kind.
The definitive list of the UK's 10 most valued work perks is now in:
1. Flexi-time
The UK workforce places the opportunity to create working hours that fit their individual lifestyles and responsibilities at the top of their list of most valued work perks - with 31% of respondents choosing this option.
Flexi-time is particularly popular amongst women, with 36% of females surveyed choosing flexi-time as their top perk, while 35-44 year olds from Scotland were the most common demographic.
2. Profit share
In second place, with 22% of respondents choosing this option is profit share. Most popular amongst men, with a quarter of all males surveyed choosing this option, respondents working in the South West and South East of England are particularly keen on this perk.
3. Health and dental cover
17% of respondents - with the largest demographic working in the North East, Midlands, South West and South East of England - placed health and dental cover in their top three most valued work perks. This perk was also particularly popular amongst workers aged 55+.
