The Italian shipping company has been cooperating with the Japanese giant for years, contributing to the consolidation of economic relations between Italy and Japan.

Yesterday, at the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Japan Domenico Giorgi, Ken Kobayashi, President and CEO of the Mitsubishi Corporation was named Commander of the Order of the Star of Italy in the presence of d'Amico Group executives, who supported the candidacy of the Japanese giant.

The "Order of the Star of Italy" award, born after World War II for Italians abroad or foreigners who best assisted the reconstruction of the country, today wishes to recognize those who have acquired special merits in the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation with Italy.
The Japanese giant, active in many industrial sectors, has in fact over many years established a solid partnership with the Italian shipping company, for the transport not only to Italy but also around the world, of refined products using the vessels of the specialized company d'Amico International Shipping (DIS.MI), listed on the Milan stock exchange, and of metals and commodities with d'Amico Dry.
