BackCheck (http://www.backcheck.co.uk), one of the United Kingdom's largest providers of background checking services (http://www.backcheck.co.uk), has been acquired by Sterling Infosystems (http://www.sterlinginfosystems.com/ ).  After receiving indications of interest from several global corporations, the Management and Board of Directors of Checkwell Solutions Corporation, parent company of BackCheck, made the decision to be acquired by Sterling Infosystems on the basis it brings together two market leaders to meet growing customer requirements in the United Kingdom, North America, and around the world.

Sterling Infosystems and BackCheck already have strong reputations for customer service and quality leadership. Together, the organisations will become even stronger, offering new technology-enabled services, and enhanced global background checking coverage.  The combination will become one of the top three largest background checking firms in the UK.
