Sail Around Britain in Aid of Macmillan

NORTH FAMBRIDGE, England, November 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

In the summer of 2016, First Class Sailing are sailing a yacht around Britain via the world famous and picturesque Caledonian Canal.

Sailing School Principal Colin Stracey commented, "Most of us will come into contact with cancer at some time in our lives and Macmillan, as many of us know, are there to help and support both the patient and their family. It is our personal experience of the superb care and support provided by Macmillan that has lead us to run this trip."

Our yacht will visit all of the marinas operated by the Yacht Haven Group, and at least one marina operated by Quay Marinas. These marinas have agreed to support Macmillan by holding a fundraising event on the day that we are there.

The trip will be broken down into seven separate legs, each offering something different and unique, be it the wildlife of the Farne Islands or the hustle and bustle of the Solent.

Individuals can sign up for just one six day trip or for the whole seven weeks.

Businesses can support the event by displaying advertisements on the vessel hull and sails.
