Announcement of Q3 Results

 

Ashtead Group plc announces that Sunbelt Rentals Holdings Inc will release its third quarter results for the period ended January 31, 2026, on March 12, 2026.  

 

As previously announced, Sunbelt Rentals Holdings Inc will become the holding company of Ashtead Group on February 27, 2026 and the common stock will start trading on the New York Stock Exchange on March 2, 2026 under the ticker symbol "SUNB".    The Group will also retain a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.  

 

A live webcast of the analyst and investor presentation will be broadcast from 8:30am ET / 12:30pm GMT via the investor relations pages on the Sunbelt Rentals' website.

 

As part of preparations for the move of the primary listing to the New York Stock Exchange, management has identified a non-material misclassification in the unaudited balance sheet contained in the results as of and for the half year and second quarter ended 31 October 2025. There is no impact on the Group's net assets, profit or cash flows. The 1.500% senior notes maturing in August 2026 were, notwithstanding disclosure of the correct maturity date, incorrectly classified as a non-current liability (within long-term borrowings) on the consolidated balance sheet at 31 October 2025. Had this debt been classified correctly as a current liability at that time, total current liabilities would have been $549.2 million higher and non-current liabilities would have been $549.2 million lower. This adjustment has no impact on the non-IFRS measure of net debt, which is calculated by reference to total borrowings.
