Spirent Communications Plc Analyst Notes
On June 3, 2014, Spirent Communications Plc (Spirent) announced the launch of AVS (Acoustic Verification System), the industry's first bench-top system for fast and reliable evaluation of mobile device acoustic speech quality. Spirent informed that with AVS, operators can now incorporate sophisticated acoustic speech analyses into their forward and reverse device logistics processes, which enhances cost savings and improved user experience. Des Owens, General Manager of Spirent's Service Experience business unit, said, "We see an exciting opportunity to help operators improve their forward and reverse logistics processes with AVS. In tests of actual returned devices, AVS showed that more than 60% of these devices had acoustic speech quality defects that were undetectable by less sophisticated subjective and functional tests. PZ Cussons plc Analyst Notes
On April 10, 2014, PZ Cussons plc (PZ Cussons) released its interim management statement for the period January 22, 2014 to April 9, 2014. PZ Cussons informed that during the period, in its UK washing and bathing division, Imperial Leather, Carex and Original Source have performed well driven by a significant renovation and innovation program. In the beauty division, consumer demand for St Tropez continues to grow aided by Kate Moss as brand ambassador. In Poland, the Company completed the sale of homecare brands with £46.6 million received in cash. In Australia, the Company's profitability was impacted by the weaker Australian dollar, while the core brands of Morning Fresh and Radiant have performed well with the re-listing of the Duo mid-priced detergent brand also achieved in the period. Hiscox Ltd. Analyst Notes
On June 4, 2014, Hiscox Ltd. (Hiscox) announced that the Company has hired four people to join the Company's newly built London Market Management Liability team.
