IRVING, Texas, October 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
The Supreme Golf & Leisure Show will be held November 9-12 and offers a fuller consumer experience for all golfers
The revamped and rebranded Supreme Golf & Leisure Show will be held on November 9-12 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.
Previously known as the North Texas Golf Expo, the expo was acquired last year by the golf marketing and investment company Supreme Golf. This year's event - its 22nd year - is in a new location at the heart of the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex, and has been redesigned to offer a fuller experience for consumer golfers.
The show's exhibition will be larger than ever before and will feature top golf manufacturers such as TaylorMade and Calloway, retailers, hotels and resorts, and local and state tourism departments. Hank Haney, the world's top golf coach, will be doing live demonstrations, taking questions and signing his New York Times bestseller The Big Miss.
For the non-golfer, there will be plenty of attractions, including fitness and wellness displays, as well as vacation offers and the 19th hole food and beverage outlet, featuring giant flat-screen televisions to watch the major sporting action.
The Supreme Golf & Leisure Show is sponsored by top companies, including Cadillac, Myrtle Beach Golf Holidays, Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith, Winstar and more.
Supreme Golf's managing partner W. Jonathan Wride said: "We decided the time was right for a new look for the show - and a new date. Regular visitors will notice that it is later in the year: we wanted to tap into the holiday feeling, as many of us are planning vacations or looking for gifts for the festive season.
"As a result, we have seen a significant increase in the number of exhibitors from the retail and vacation and leisure sector, which means we can provide a more complete visitor experience."
The show has partnered with Susan B Komen, Rally for the Cure and The First Tee as part of its "give back" campaign. Donations will be collected via special show ticket deals offered through these charities, and on-site activities such as "Putt for the Cure". Furthermore, Santa Claus will be in residence at the show and will be available for photo opportunities.
As well as the expo, Supreme Golf was recently announced as the title sponsor and owner of The Hank Haney Radio Show, which runs on FOX Sports Radio every Saturday. This augments the company's existing portfolio of a deal platform at SupremeGolf.com and a national golf course rating system.
Central to the Supreme Golf group is the website SupremeGolf.com, a free membership service for golf enthusiasts, offering between 40 and 90 per cent off green fees, as well as stay-and-play packages, lessons, golf equipment and more.
