Marc Cain at Panorama Berlin - "Innovation 100% made in Germany"

The economically successful fashion company Marc Cain presents its latest knitting development "Innovation 100% made in Germany" live at Panorama Berlin. The new Berlin fashion show will be held for the first time at the new ExpoCenter Airport from 15 to 17 January alongside the official Berlin Fashion Week.

Marc Cain is a globally operating premium brand with its own production share in Germany. Since Marc Cain was founded in Italy in 1973, the company has maintained its Italian roots with German perfection. The fabrics, such as woven fabric and jerseys, as well as the yarns come direct from Italy. The knitting of yarns on state-of-the art knitting machines and the finishing of materials using textile finishing processes takes place in Germany in order to produce the desired level of comfort and the quality for which Marc Cain is known. The innovative nature and distinctive features of the Marc Cain collections are based on German production. As a result, the company successfully maintains a production facility in Bodelshausen which operates on a three-shift pattern for knitting, finishing and printing.

The company's 150 square metre stand at the Panorama show benefits from a striking and very special decorative concept, which gives visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Marc Cain. As a special highlight, the latest Marc Cain knitting innovation will be presented on the stand - a knitting machine that is unique throughout the world thanks to its refined components and modified software. Standard flatbed knitting machines are generally only used to knit individual parts, such as sleeves, front and back sections and collars. This machine, however, produces a complete sweater at the end of its cycle, and the process is called "Knit & Wear". This technology enables Marc Cain to offer knitted goods that are 100% "made in Germany".

In addition to this machine innovation, visitors can look forward to an original Marc Cain inkjet printer, which can be used to print onto almost any materials and finishing products. Both machines will be used live at the trade fair stand.
