London PR Agency CCgroup Completes Management Buyout
LONDON, August 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
The management team of CCgroup http://www.ccgrouppr.com, the London PR agency with a key specialism in B2B technology PR, has successfully completed a management buyout. Led by Managing Director Richard Fogg and Head of Telecoms Paul Nolan, the deal includes the firm's Reading-based consumer agency, Escapade http://www.escapadepr.com.
"CCgroup has earned a reputation for being a B2B IT PR consultancy with a strong commercial focus. And, in Escapade, we have a thriving consumer business that has grown by some 30% over the past two years.
"We're buying a robust company with an excellent offer - but it's CCgroup's phenomenal potential that drove the deal," said Fogg. "We've already started boosting investment in resources, platforms and personnel to help realise this potential - it's incredibly exciting."
On day one, the new owners announced a number of senior promotions. Lynne Goddard becomes Managing Director of Escapade, with Nicole Littlewood stepping up to Associate Director. Daniel Lowther takes over as the Head of CCgroup's Financial Services Technology PR stream. Duncan McKean also joins the B2B IT PR senior management team as an Associate Director.
Media entrepreneur, Tim Trotter, takes a minor equity stake and assumes the role of Non-Executive Chairman. Ian McCann, the former owner of CCgroup, remains as a client-facing consultant and joins the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Paul Nolan becomes a Director.
"CCgroup exists to help great companies with great technologies and bold ideas win the recognition, reputation and rewards they deserve. Escapade uses intelligent creativity to support the commercial agenda for household brands and those aspiring to be," said Fogg. "We're ambitious, we're different and we're going to have a lot of fun growing our offer, our markets and our business."
