Esure Group Plc Analyst Notes
On May 7, 2014, Esure Group Plc (Esure) released its Interim Management Statement for Q1 2014. The Company stated that the total in-force policies increased to 2.0 million as on March 31, 2014, up 9.5% YoY and 1.5% QoQ. Esure's gross written premiums were £123.5 million, down by 0.6% YoY, with premiums for Motor and Home down 0.5% and 1.0%, respectively. The Company's additional services revenues were £24.7 million, down by 3.5% YoY. According to Esure, severe weather events at the beginning of Q1 2014 are estimated to have cost the Group up to £3 million more than normally expected during the quarter, at the lower end of the guidance given in March, 2014. Stuart Vann, CEO, Esure Group plc, commented, "As we indicated at our preliminary results in March, market conditions remained highly competitive during Q1 with further market rate reductions across both Motor and Home." Ferrexpo Plc Analyst Notes
According to the Financial Calendar on the official website of Ferrexpo Plc (Ferrexpo), the Company will release its Q2 2014 production report on July 8, 2014. Pellet production from own ore was up 9.2% YoY to 2.7 million tonnes in Q1 2014. On April 17, 2014, Ferrexpo informed that the Company remains on track and budget to increase production during 2014 to its target run rate of 12 million tonnes of pellets per annum. Booker Group Plc Analyst Notes
On June 5, 2014, Booker Group Plc (Booker) announced the posting of a circular to its shareholders comprising the notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) along with details of the proposed return of capital by way of a B share scheme, announced at the time of the Company's preliminary results dated May 22, 2014. The Company informed that shareholders will receive 3.5 pence per ordinary share, equating to an aggregate return of approximately £61 million.
