LONDON, June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
JewelStreet.com, the online jewellery marketplace, today relaunched with a new logo, a new website and the largest boutique at Jewellery Week London.
Celebrating its 1st birthday, JewelStreet has come a long way in a very short time. Since its incorporation in June 2012, the business has attracted over 140 jewellery designers and brands, been featured in Professional Jeweller and has developed a strong consumer following, as well as launching, a 360 degree jewellery photography division.
At Jewellery Week London, JewelStreet is hosting the largest boutique at 'Treasure', the consumer facing element of the show, and has invited 20 award winning designers to exhibit their work. They include amongst others: Alexander Davis, SHO Jewellery, Paul Spurgeon, Allumer, Charmian Beaton, Anna Byers, Catherine Budd, Kokkino, LucyQ and Sara Gunn.
Alexander Davis, who is also a board advisor to JewelStreet, said, "The team at JewelStreet have got so many things right and the fact that they have attracted over 140 designers since their launch is a great testament to this" stated Davis. "I'm thrilled about the relaunch and believe the new brand is much more on trend'."
Sarah Ho of SHO jewellery added: "The new site is fabulous. It is stylish, and chic, easy to navigate and achieves the objective of showcasing jewellery but has a 'surprise' fashion element in the inspire section."
The rebrand sees a dramatic change in the positioning of the business bringing a more fashionable, exciting and feminine feeling to the online marketplace. Rob Passmore, Co-Founder of JewelStreet added: "The initial response to JewelStreet has been profound and highlights the need for designers to work in a multi-channel way - selling through the trade and also direct via JewelStreet. We are confident that the rebrand will position us for the next stage of growth with consumers and designers, and places us clearly as the leading online jewellery marketplace."
"Our aim," added Passmore, "is to make JewelStreet the definitive location for discovering the best and the latest designer jewellery talent available. We believe with the support of our designers, we are well on track to achieve this aim."
