The CWID is a US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed annual event that engages cutting-edge information technology, focusing on operational shortfalls identified by combatant commanders and government agencies.

The results for the 2011 CWID demonstrated that iOra's SharePoint replication technology was fully compliant with the US DOD IA Policy. In addition the testing demonstrated that iOra:

  • was easy to install
  • enabled  the simple and straightforward replication of shared portals  
  • its functionality for manual and automatic updates reported zero failures
  • that 100% of data was the same after replication based on  users verification
  • easily replicated and stored data

Currently, cross-site access is often limited by the network, units are forced to work in silos, and operational effectiveness is threatened. The iOra patented SharePoint replication solution  allows users to quickly access content that is local to the user, even when there is unreliable reach back capability to headquarters, and also allow the bi-directional transfer of information. The trial demonstrated a live synchronization over a simulated satellite link of typical operational data from a simulated headquarters environment to a deployed user.
