Chakratec and DBT-CEV Announce a Cooperation in Fast and Ultra Fast EV Charging Station With Kinetic Power Booster to Deliver EV Charging Everywhere

Chakratec, the Kinetic Energy Storage pioneer and DBT Europe's leading EV Technology partner for AC and fast charging announced today their cooperation to offer and deliver DBT's Fast and Ultra-Fast EV charging stations combined with Chakratec's unlimited charge cycle and environmental friendly kinetic power booster.

Fast EV chargers have a great impact on the grid when charging with high power. The newly developed system between DBT-CEV and Chakratec connects a multi standard fast charger and a kinetic storage to a low power grid and boosts it times three. The objective is to avoid massive upgrade investments of the grid. The system will store energy while no car is charging and flush it into the EV during the EV charging process.
The outstanding advantages of kinetic storage over chemical batteries are its capability of providing unlimited charge cycles and since not chemical, it is environmental friendly.
The power booster is modular, starting at 100kWp and scalable to multiple MWp.
This cooperation will enable both companies to offer fast chargers everywhere, including in areas with weak grid without effecting the grid.
