Belgian athletes for the Olympic Games will be dressed by Belgian designer Stijn Helsen, who has worked as costumer on films like 'Spiderman 2' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. In the past, Helsen has also worked for Vivienne Westwood, Valentino and L.A. movie blockbusters. He is famous for his bespoke tailored suits worn by such stars as Lenny Kravitz, Danny Huston and the Belgian Royals.

Belgium-based, designer Stijn Helsen is from a three-generation Belgian tailor family and is dressing the Belgian team with tailored fitted three piece suits for men and couture comfortable jersey tailleurs for woman. The men's waistcoats come with silkscreened linings, with the Belgium official Olympic Games logo, where the ladies will wear couture jersey jackets and leggings with a bustier in the national 'Belgium three color'.
Tennis player Yanina Wickmayer (photo), Hans Van Alphen (photo) and Elodie Ouedraogo (photo) are pictured leaving the Stijn Helsen concept store in the city of Hasselt, Belgium, where they picked up the official outfits that they will wear at the ceremonial opening this Friday.
Only Friday will tell which national delegation wins the medal for the best dressed team, and Stijn Helsen is in good company. Ralph Lauren is dressing the American team and Stella McCartney designed the Olympic uniforms of the British athletes, while Hermès assured the French jockey team of their outfits.
