Held as part of Nasscom InnoTrek USA 2026, the Confluence brought together Indian DeepTech founders with investors, enterprise leaders and the US innovation ecosystem
SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nasscom today hosted the India DeepTech Confluence in California, bringing together Indian DeepTech startups, US enterprise leaders, investors and technology experts to enable conversations around market access, enterprise adoption, capital and scaling in the United States.
Held at the FalconX office, 691 S Milpitas Blvd, Suite 217, Milpitas, California, the Confluence took place as part of Nasscom InnoTrek USA 2026, Nasscom's market-access programme aimed at helping Indian technology startups understand global markets, build customer and investor relationships and create pathways for international growth.
The day-long Confluence was structured around one of the central challenges for DeepTech startups looking to expand in the US; moving beyond technology validation to finding the right enterprise use cases, customers, capital and partnerships required to scale.
The Confluence brought together leading voices from across the global technology, enterprise and investment ecosystem, including Sachin Kaura, Vice President and Chief Architect for AI Research, Experimentation and Evaluation, SAP Business AI; Gayathri Radhakrishnan, Partner, Hitachi Ventures; Satish Talluri, DeepTech VC and former a16z Partner; Priyadarshi Panda, Founder, International Battery Company; and Lochan Alagh, Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer, VentureDock, among others.
Discussions across the confluence focused on some of the critical considerations for Indian DeepTech companies entering and scaling in the US market. Enterprise trust and securing the first pilot, moving AI and DeepTech deployments from pilot to production, and building the technical and commercial readiness required for sustained enterprise adoption emerged as key themes. The conversations also covered founder experiences of scaling technology businesses, navigating periods of uncertainty and building companies for long-term value creation.
Capital and commercial readiness formed another key strand of the Confluence. Investor discussions focused on the funding realities for DeepTech companies and the role of traction, defensibility and readiness in accessing the next stage of capital.
The Confluence formed part of the broader InnoTrek USA 2026 programme, which has brought Indian DeepTech founders into conversations with the Consulate General of India, enterprise leaders, investors and innovation ecosystem stakeholders in the United States.
Shreya Sharma, Director & Head, Nasscom Deeptech, said, "Indian DeepTech startups are building strong IP and solving increasingly complex problems. The opportunity now is to translate that innovation into global scale. Through InnoTrek and the DeepTech Confluence, we are bringing founders closer to the enterprises, investors and ecosystem partners who can help accelerate that journey from market validation and deployment to partnerships and capital. The engagements are designed to give founders a closer understanding of the US market while creating direct opportunities for customer discovery, strategic partnerships, investment and market access."
The Confluence puts the spotlight on 18 innovative Indian DeepTech startups, which showcased technologies and solutions spanning enterprise AI, industrial technology, healthcare, energy, robotics, logistics and other emerging areas. Participating startups included qRaptor, Yodaplus Technologies, UGX.AI, LogisticsNow, Smart Grid Analytics, Marbles Health, UpTroop, Simlionics, Astrikos AI, Constems AI Systems, The Folding Company, Intello Labs, OpenTurf Technologies, MySellerCentral, neurIOT Labs, Sastra Robotics, CogitX AI and Sinrorobotics.
Through the showcase and subsequent interactions, founders were able to present their technology, market opportunity, differentiation and US market strategy directly to potential customers, partners and investors, with the larger objective of translating technology innovation into commercial opportunities in the global market.
