-- McLaren MP4-12C driver Rodin Younessi of Molitor Racing Systems confident in performance
MIAMI, May 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Rodin Younessi (USA) of Molitor Racing Systems will share the work behind the wheel of the team's McLaren MP4-12C for the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series this weekend at Silverstone. Younessi is competing in the series' PRO-AM CUP.
The three hour, multi-class endurance race, taking place Sunday June 2nd at Silverstone Circuit, will be a head-to-head encounter with a starting grid of 60 GT3 cars in the hands of the best teams from Europe. The 2013 season opener at Monza in April had its ups and downs for Younessi and the MRS team. However, the team's McLaren MP4-12C is prepared to outperform the competition in Northamptonshire's unpredictable weather.
"With our team's commitment and dedication, I am confident in our ability to show great performance this weekend at Silverstone," said Rodin Younessi, driver-team owner of Younessi Racing.
After this weekend at Silverstone, the 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series continues at Paul Ricard (June 29-30), the prestigious 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps (July 24-28), and the series-ending, Nurburgring 1000km (September 21-22).
