LONDON, Dec. 2, 2015 Intelligence (BI) and analytics software vendor, Yellowfin, announced today that its business-user-oriented BI solution has been selected for inclusion under the UK Government's G-Cloud 7 Framework Agreement.
Yellowfin's inclusion within the agreement -- secured by UK reseller partner, Orion & Associates -- enables UK public sector organisations to purchase Yellowfin, via Orion & Associates, without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.
G-Cloud is a procurement vehicle used by the UK Government for the provision of cloud-based information technology solutions and services. The G-Cloud Framework acts as a 'digital marketplace', allowing public sector ogranisations to quickly search a catalogue of approved suppliers, which facilitates the fast and easy purchase of cloud-based technologies.
