Anguilla, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands have each entered into separate, multi-year contracts with WorldReach Software. Industry analysts believe this marks the first implementation of a secure, Cloud-based issuance system for any country or territory. An additional key factor in winning the project was the ability of WorldReach to comply with stringent data security and privacy requirements of Her Majesty's Passport Office. HMPO will be personalizing the new ePassports at an existing facility in the United Kingdom.
PassportReach supports all phases of secure document issuance such as data capture, entitlement and identity processing, scanning, inventory and tracking. The system also supports both centralized personalization for full validity passports and decentralized personalization for temporary passports or emergency travel documents. The SaaS-Cloud model reduces initial costs, ramp-up time, and infrastructure investments, while offering improved accessibility, flexibility, security, redundancy and scalability.
