Bauknecht chose a hitherto unknown setting for the world premiere of their new appliances for washing, drying and refrigeration in Munich on 21 April - an international lifestyle event with exclusive catwalk show and star-studded expert panel discussion. Designer Sonja Kiefer and star caterer KP Kofler discussed the latest trends in fashion and food with Bauknecht director Vladimir Cherevko.
It soon became clear that the fashion, catering and household appliance sectors have a lot in common. They answer the increasing demands of their customers with top quality, a strong awareness of fashion trends and pioneering innovation.

The 80 international guest journalists were thrilled by the "catwalk of features". Sonja Kiefer showed selected collection items, sending her models out on the catwalk with accessories symbolising the functions of the latest PremiumCare and Ultimate NoFrost appliances. For example, a model suspended above the audience in a shower of soap bubbles embodied "SoftMove" technology that ensures optimum care for fabric colours, fibres and shape.
Following the official programme, Bauknecht product managers underlined the key features of the PremiumCare design award-winning range of laundry-care appliances and the Ultimate NoFrost fridge-freezer in face-to-face discussions. All three new appliances make everyday life easier with innovative technology while saving money and protecting the environment though their efficiency.
The "Fashion meets Food" event opened up a new dimension in product presentation. In 2015 household appliances have become an expression of lifestyle - and Bauknecht is at the forefront of this development.
