Wirecard Gains ERGO Insurance in Austria as Customer for Last-minute Insurance Payment Processing

Wirecard Central Eastern Europe (CEE), a subsidiary of Wirecard AG, now provides credit card acceptance for short-term insurance cover from the ERGO Insurance in Austria. Additionally, the payment specialist now handles payment processing via Mastercard, Visa, PayPal and SOFORT as an acquirer. This collaboration between the two companies combines financial and insurance technologies, thereby offering an innovative and uncomplicated insurance solution. Customers can use this offer straight away to take out insurance online.
Among other things, special rescue cost insurance is included in the new short-term insurance solution offered by ERGO. For instance, this applies to anyone who takes a spontaneous skiing trip one weekend and still wants to be fully covered. The benefit for all last-minute decision makers is that the insurance is very flexible. The insurance is active just an hour after being taken out. You can choose the duration of the cover and it will end automatically without any need for notice after the maximum validity of 14 days.
