Winter Arts & Crafts Expo of 9th ICIF & Art Shenzhen 2013 Successfully Held
SHENZHEN, China, Dec. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Winter Arts & Crafts Expo of 9th ICIF & Art Shenzhen 2013 was successfully concluded on December 16, 2013 in Shenzhen, China. As a derivative fair of ICIF under the exhibition model of "1+N", the Fair selected excellent arts and crafts and painting and calligraphy contents from ICIF for exhibition and trade.
The Fair covered an exhibition area of 22,500 square meters, an increase of 7,500 square meters compared with 15,000 square meters last year. This year's exhibitors totaled 341, 25 more than the 316 present last session. Hailing from 23 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions and 20 prefecture-level cities from all over mainland China and the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, they presented representative and excellent exhibits of fine art and crafts from all over. Visitors reached 50,000, including over 3,000 professional visitors from Hong Kong and Macau. Over 80% of the exhibitors reserved their booths at the next ICIF during the exhibition period.
The 10th ICIF Promotion Delegation to South America came back with fruitful results as well in December. The Delegation hosted Business Promotion Seminars and forums of the 10th ICIF in both Chile and Brazil and visited the National Council for Culture and Arts of Chile, World Trade Center Santiago of Chile, Chamber of Commerce of Santiago, Chile, Sincrocine Film Production Company, Brazil-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce, General Association of Cantonese in Brazil and other cultural or business organizations and representative leaders of local communities. Many organizations expressed great interest in ICIF. Among them, World Trade Center Santiago of Chile and Brazil-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce signed strategic cooperation agreements with ICIF Company on-site, and will organize cultural products and related institutions from North America to attend the 10th ICIF next May in Shenzhen, China.
Per current statistics, the 10th ICIF has completed 75% of the exhibition inviting work, and 15% of the exhibitors will be coming from overseas countries and regions.
