MADRID, December 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
- The app is being launched in Latin America (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil) and 14 European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Greece, France, Belgium, Italy and Poland).
After 160,000 downloads in Spain and a thorough study of the international telecommunications market, in a major step forward, Weplan is launching its app in 22 countries across Latin America and Europe. It does so with a completely revamped version: improved usability, faster and with a much more intuitive interface. The new design is intended to give users a more enjoyable browsing experience, together with significant design improvements.
The international launch begins with seven Latin American countries (Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil) and 14 European countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Greece, France, Belgium, Italy and Poland). In a second phase, which will take place over the coming weeks, the app will launch in Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey.
Weplan is a free Android app that analyses the calls, connections and messages from users' smartphones and offers the price plan and the network that best meets their needs.
After being installed, Weplan helps the user to select their current plan, performs an automatic analysis of consumption and instantly recommends the optimal plan in an accurate, independent and completely impartial manner. In addition, if the customer wants to switch to a cheaper price plan, Weplan facilitates this process and offers discounts for mobile contracts and purchasing smartphones and tablets.
But Weplan is not just for comparing phone price plans. To deliver greater savings, the app also facilitates consumption control through a simple and functional alerts, graphs and statistics system. In this way, users can always have control over call, SMS and data, differentiating between Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
Consumption information is shown in real time and the personalized alert service allows for various types of warnings: when a certain level of consumption in euros is reached, when a user is about to exhaust their data allowance, upon reaching the end of a contract or after each call, indicating its cost, helping users avoid surprises on their phone bill.
