VWR Recognizes Suppliers for Their Continual Focus on Excellence
- Company Announces Awards at Annual Americas and European Sales Conferences
RADNOR, Pennsylvania, Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- VWR (NASDAQ: VWR), a leading, independent provider of laboratory products, services and solutions, honored several of its many valued suppliers at its recent Sales Conferences with a Supplier Excellence Award. These awards recognize supplier accomplishments and excellence in operations, sales support and customer service. The Americas and European Sales Conferences hosted over 1,500 attendees each, and combined had over 30 countries represented.
The main focus of these conferences was to provide key information and updates on products that will best support our Sales organization as they work to meet our customers' needs. Over 150 suppliers demonstrated and trained our field organization on the latest product innovations and customer solutions during VWR's Supplier Fairs.

At the Americas Sales Conference, VWR honored Air-Tite, Contec, EMD Millipore, Greiner, Kewaunee, Kimberly-Clark, Labconco, Micronova, New Pig, Puritan Medical, Quanta BioSciences (winner of two categories), Thermo Scientific (Chromatography Division) and Troemner. At the European Sales Conference, VWR honored Brand GmbH, Eppendorf, GE Healthcare, Hitachi, ITW Texwipe, Labcon, Memmert, Merck Millipore, Miele, Pall Life Science, Simport, and Thermo Scientific (LDC Division).
