Visualead to Enable Visual Variable Code and Code Security Technology In HP SmartStream Designer
Visualead to showcase integrated technology at Drupa exhibition in Dusseldorf May 31-June 10
HERZLIYA, Israel and SHANGHAI, May 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Visualead, an Israeli software company specializing in IOT enablement through QR codes, today announced that it had integrated its state-of-the-art visual variable code in HP SmartStream Designer, a software application that will be demonstrated at the Drupa printing equipment exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany in May.
A popular variable data tool optimized for HP Indigo presses, HP SmartStream Designer enables printing professionals to create sophisticated custom jobs and can be used to personalize any print job images, textual content and color, for creation of virtually unlimited design variations.
Visualead has practically reinvented the QR code by combining it with visual and security layers for a range of applications. The company's revolutionary Visual QR Code – also known as [v]code - is able to transform any desired image into highly appealing and effective QR codes.
"We're pleased to integrate Visualead's remarkable visual code standard right within our HP SmartStream Designer application, as this will enable print service providers with HP Indigo presses to seamlessly and effortlessly print Visualead's variable visual codes, and even its patented secure visual codes, much like they've been able to do with standard black and white QR codes to date," says Gershon Alon, WW manager, workflow solutions and partners program at HP Indigo. "HP will have a significant presence at this year's upcoming Drupa exhibition and we're looking forward to demonstrating this innovative joint solution to our SmartStream Designer and HP Indigo customers at the show."
Brands and manufacturers can incorporate [v]code in the form of product labels or product packaging in order to enable various business opportunities, be it customer engagement and loyalty programs, product authentication, track and trace, or channel management.
Visualead's product suites effectively enable businesses across more than 200 countries to better connect with customers both offline and online, and contribute to enhanced, mobile experience-based interaction between brands and consumers.
The company's solutions have proven especially successful in Asia Pacific, with Alibaba embracing Visualead technology for its anti-counterfeit initiative "Blue Star," with CymMetrik Group, a leading printing solution provider in the Greater China Region, and with EvoTrue Net, the largest solution provider in agricultural product quality control in China, among others, incorporating it in their label printing applications.
"Our collaboration with HP is truly to everyone's benefit," said Joyce Tai, Visualead's Chief Commercial Officer. "HP is bound to gain further competitive edge and increased customer satisfaction by providing its HP Indigo presses and HP SmartStream Designer users with added features and values, all without the need for these customers to individually invest in implementation and integration efforts."
"We are excited to work with the leader in the printing industry and are excited at the prospect of HP Indigo displaying our collaborative efforts at Drupa 2016. We look forward to creating values with HP Indigo and its customers, and brands and manufacturers in worldwide market places."
