Virgin Limited Edition Announces That a Tented Camp in Kenya Will be the Latest Addition to its Luxury Portfolio

Virgin Limited Edition, Sir Richard Branson's luxury collection of award-winning retreats is excited to announce that it will be introducing a new property to the already eclectic portfolio - Mahali Mzuri in Kenya.

Mahali Mzuri meaning "beautiful place" in Swahili will be a luxury Kenyan Safari Camp due to open in 2013. The camp will consist of 12 sleeper tents and cater for a maximum of 24 guests at any one time. Rates will start from USD $580 per person per night (based on double occupancy) and will be fully inclusive of all meals, drinks & daily game drives as well as unlimited access to the Olare Orok and Motorogi Conservancies.*

Mahali Mzuri will be situated within the Motorogi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara ecosystem of Kenya, about 240km due west of Nairobi. Virgin Limited Edition is committed to minimising its environmental footprint and promoting high value low density tourism; within the conservancy the number of game vehicles is strictly controlled. Mahali Mzuri will generate employment for over 50 staff with a commitment to keep recruitment and procurement as local as possible.
