- Announces Dr. Stefano Torri as European sales director

VideoIQ, the recognized leader in intelligent all-in-one video surveillance solutions, today announced the addition of Dr. Stefano Torri to its sales team in the position of European sales director. In this role, Torri will be responsible for managing all of Europe, working closely with regional partners already in place, and recruiting new channel partners to drive sales and distribution of VideoIQ's line of intelligent all-in-one video surveillance systems, including iCVR-HD cameras, iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders.

Torri comes to VideoIQ with more than 20 years of extensive channel sales management experience in the IT and physical security/video-surveillance markets. Based near Milan, Italy he will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with distributors, system integrators, resellers and end-users throughout Europe. He joins VideoIQ from Mobotix AG, where he was the business development director for Southeast Europe.

Torri was previously the director for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa at Plasmon plc, a leading European manufacturer of long-term archival storage systems.  Having also worked for a prominent Italian IT and technology distributor in the early stages of his career, Torri understands the key dynamics of multi-tier distribution and developed his whole career by focusing on channel value-added organizations.
