The introduction of WELL, the first European classification system, has created a platform that clarifies the water and energy efficiency of a sanitary valves. At the same time, manufacturers of the classified products can underline their commitment to using water resources in a responsible manner.
The European sanitary valve industry is setting international standards with the "Water Efficiency Label." The evaluation system is easy to follow, immediately demonstrates clearly the actual savings when using a higher-quality valve and therefore creates a real transparency for consumers and investors.
"WELL" is used for sanitary washbasin, kitchen and shower valves well as shower heads and hoses, urinal and toilet flushing systems as well as accessories. A distinction is made here between applications in public or commercial and in private and domestic areas.
The label requirements are tested by independent laboratories according to uniform standards and all valves meet the relevant European standards.
Almost all major European manufacturers have classified their products according to WELL and have therefore also set an example towards the environmental policy of the European Commission.
