University Campus Suffolk Make Guardian League Table top 100, Rising 16 Places
IPSWICH, England, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
University Campus Suffolk (UCS) is one of the biggest risers in this year's Guardian newspaper University League Table, climbing 16 places to make the top 100.
Moving above established universities such as Middlesex, South Bank, Westminster and Kingston to 98th place, UCS has also made significant rises in subject areas such as History which now ranks in the country's top tier.
Other course areas that have continued to make strong improvements from the last League Table are Social Work (up 22 places), Business (up 8 places) and Art and Design (up 4 places).
The Guardian Good University Guide is published annually as a guide to all UK universities ranked according to teaching excellence determined through a number of criteria including National Student Survey scores, career prospects and student-staff ratios.
Professor Mike Saks, UCS Provost and Chief Executive, said: "This is a tangible indicator of the substantial progress UCS has made over the past year. The league table is a useful guide for prospective undergraduate students and their parents to make informed decisions about which University to choose."
