Unique Motivational Masterclass Can Help You Keep Your New Year Resolutions in 2015
GLASGOW, Scotland, January 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Cornwallis Associates, experts in positive psychology and behaviour change, are offering a special motivational workshop in Glasgow that helps people build confidence, achieve their goals, and change their lives for the better - for good.
Around 7 million of us make New Year's resolutions to improve an aspect of our health. The latest advice that more than four in 10 cancers could be prevented if people led healthier lives means there has never been a better time to make that resolution into a long-lasting change!
Change for Good is a one-day workshop with internationally respected professionals in the field of behaviour change and positive psychology. Liz Cornwallis and James Taylor - who are running the one-day workshops in Glasgow - use their expertise gained in the NHS, academia and business to teach participants how to achieve what they want in life - whether it be weight loss, career or business success, getting fit and healthy, or stopping smoking.
Founder of Cornwallis Associates Liz Cornwallis believes that there are effective strategies people can learn to change their thoughts and behaviour to breed success: "Everyone wishes they could stop their bad habits, or be healthier or more successful. This workshop provides tools and skills, based on scientific research, to build confidence and motivation for change."
The course takes places on Saturday 24th January and repeats on Saturday 31st January 2015 in Glasgow city centre from 10am - 4pm. "During the course, our trainers will use demonstrations and talk through skills and techniques that help people learn what influences behaviour and offers new ways to deal with that behaviour. It's about learning by doing; that's why there will be lots of opportunities to try out practical activities in a safe and supportive environment," says founder and trainer Liz Cornwallis.
Participants will also receive motivation-boosting packages throughout 2015 that can help create long-term changes well into the future - at no extra charge. Special discounts for multiple bookings are on offer too, and £1 from every booking will go to Maggie's Cancer Care Centre.
