V-Control gives companies an easy to use portal through which they can manage their entire estate of Virtual Meeting Rooms (VMRs). This means that a single VMR can serve multiple users just like traditional meeting rooms do. UCi2i have always allowed customers to dial-in, on-demand, but now they can dial-out to add people into a VMR.
Importantly, businesses can save money on concierge charges by easily doing it themselves. It also allows them to further maximise their video investments and ensure that virtual meeting rooms are used efficiently and regularly throughout the day.
"With this application, our users can take complete control of all their multi-party calls using a single interface," said Michael Grant, Founder and Managing Director of UCi2i. "The meeting owner can now add and remove participants at the touch of a button, allowing them to pull in the right expertise when they need it, regardless of where they are. Also, with a suite of in-built features, such as participant mute and messaging, managing larger virtual meetings can now occur effortlessly."
The browser based application is integrated with other UCi2i functionality which improves ease of use. This includes an inbuilt address book with online/offline status, participant microphone and audio mute functionality, on-the-fly PIN change.
Grant adds "We're really excited to launch V-Control because we know our customers will benefit from it. This is another step closer to our goal of absolute simplicity for business video communications, and we know IT teams will be grateful for the technical headaches we've helped them avoid."
