ISTANBUL, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Turkcell (NYSE: TKC, ISE: TCELL), the leading communications and technology company has announced a new feature of its application fizy called "fizy live." Being the only Mashable Award Winner application in Turkey, the online platform is the first digital music service in the world to enable the users to make live music broadcasts and interact with listeners to enjoy a real radio host experience.
Turkey's most popular online music service since 2008, fizy, has launched a new era in the field of interactive broadcasting. It is turning the users into radio hosts by offering a legal platform consisting of millions of songs. 'Fizy live' can be accessed through browsers without requiring a plug-in, or any extra programs. Users can choose from a wide range of music to create a playlist of their own to share with listeners. The only requirement is for the users to register on http://www.fizy.com free of charge, click on the 'start broadcasting' button, choosing from a prepaid list of songs and start wiring the list through any of the social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
Fizy is one of the most important platforms that not only helps to protect the copyrights of the music industry, but also contributes to its growth. Through the strength gained by Turkcell's support in 2010, fizy now has 3 million registered users with 30 million unique visitors each year, offering special events such as listening to certain albums before they hit the shelves, or else to available online concerts. Now users will be able to interact, while enjoying all of the other features of fizy.
Note: The application is currently available in Turkey and further investments are to follow in other countries.
