These awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 300,000 restaurant reviews submitted by verified toptable diners for approximately 4,000 restaurants across the UK.

The Diners' Choice awards for the Top 20 Most Romantic Restaurants in the UK are generated from more than 300,000 restaurant reviews collected from verified toptable diners from January to December 2013. All restaurants with a minimum number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant's average rating in the "romantic" category along with a minimum "overall" rating.

Based on this methodology, the following restaurants, listed in alphabetical order, comprise the Top 20 Most Romantic Restaurants in the UK according to toptable diners.
