In the run up to the Year of Natural Scotland 2013, world-acclaimed landscape photographer Colin Prior aimed to capture outdoor expert Rebecca Morris in one of her favourite locations in the Cairngorms showcasing the incredible scenery, colours and atmosphere that inspire her work every day.

Rebecca, who is a guide for Wilderness Scotland and an advocate of sustainable and responsible tourism, was announced as the Young Highland Ambassador of the Year earlier this month. Leading up to the Year of Natural Scotland, the images celebrate Scotland's majestic scenery, as well as the 10 Year anniversary of the Cairngorms National Park in 2013.

2013 will be a year-long celebration of Scotland's outstanding natural beauty, magnificent historical heritage, incredible wildlife and truly breathtaking landscape. The Year of Natural Scotland 2013 will provide visitors with the ideal opportunity to become immersed in Scotland throughout the year, experience the rugged scenery of the Highlands, the splendour of the national parks, the freshness of the natural larders, and the welcome from people who passionately care about this wild land.

The Year of Natural Scotland will start on 1 January 2013 and run until Hogmanay 2013 with events, festivals and activities taking place across the length and breadth of Scotland. Visitors will be given the opportunity to experience the great Scottish outdoors, as well as to join in on a range of celebrations and discovering insider tips from across the country.
