Top European Media Owners Choose Krux to Protect, Manage and Monetise Their Audience Data
LONDON, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Krux appoints Richard Foster to recruit and lead new EU team headquartered in London
Krux, the global leader in cloud-based data management solutions, announced today that top media owners across Europe have chosen its Data Management Platform (DMP) to help them to protect, manage and monetise their audience data.
The Krux DMP provides real-time audience insights which help publishers and marketers increase site performance and user engagement through more personalised content, improve subscriptions and ecommerce performance, strengthen web data security and drive more revenue from across their advertising inventory.
Following explosive global growth in 2012, Krux has now secured contracts with key media owners across Europe including, Axel Springer Media Impact, the Financial Times, IDG UK, Spil Games, Sanoma Media and the Telegraph Media Group. These leading digital media owners chose Krux for its powerful analytics and segmentation engine, its ability to ingest and make actionable both online and offline data and its proven ability to seamlessly scale to meet the demands of their businesses.
"Working with Krux has enabled us to significantly expand the capabilities of our data-driven advertising product, DataFactor," said Holm Munstermann, general manager, new media business, Axel Springer Media Impact.
"We are delighted to partner with Krux as we continue to build out our audience-centric advertising capabilities," said Jon Slade, commercial director, digital advertising at the Financial Times. "FT.com has always put audience targeting at the front of our market proposition, and Krux can help us take that to the next level as we combine multiple data points from across our operation to create highly valuable audience segments for our clients."
As a result of this client growth and the increasing dominance of its solutions in the DMP market, Krux has appointed digital publishing industry expert, Richard Foster, as European managing director to lead the EU team from new headquarters in London. Richard will initially be joined by Mike Chang, Krux solutions manager for Europe.
"Krux's proven cloud-based data management platform and market neutral positioning make it a natural solution for the publishing, marketing and content community throughout the European Union," said Richard. Foster. "I look forward to supporting our existing European clients and recruiting a strong team to build Krux's international presence in the market."
Richard was previously the UK managing director for TRUSTe providing technology solutions to help media owners to ensure compliance, and build trust in targeted advertising and prior to that, digital director at Future Publishing, where he launched a dedicated data team, becoming one of the first media owners in Europe to directly trade data with the major trading desks.
Richard's career also includes the roles of UK managing director at AudienceScience and the commercial director at 24/7 Real Media UK and Excite UK. He has print publishing experience with The Economist and The Guardian.
Mike Chang has held various product and operational roles at Google and PubMatic prior to joining Krux. Currently, he works with Krux clients and partners to design, implement, activate, and gain value from the full suite of Krux solutions. Most recently, Mike advised numerous start-ups in areas ranging from monetisation strategies and infrastructure, to social media marketing and search engine optimisation.
"Krux enjoyed explosive growth in 2012 with the entire operation managed from our U.S. offices," said Tom Chavez, Krux co-founder and CEO. "As we continue to grow, we have decided to expand our physical footprint so that we can get closer to the many international markets we are already serving. We're fortunate to have found a kindred spirit and strong leader in Richard Foster who, ably supported by our own Mike Chang, will continue to recruit and grow our European team to meet the phenomenal market demand and client growth."
Krux's EU Headquarters is located at 19 Eastbourne Terrace, London, W2 6LG. For EU sales inquiries, contact Richard Foster on richard@krux.com or +44(0)203-036-0560.
