SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GVG Capital Group is hosting its next Digital CEO Roundtable from February 10-12, 2013 in San Francisco, the epicenter of digital innovation. In this iconic location, 20 invited CEOs from the world's largest and most innovative companies will actively reimagine the future of their industries and their businesses for the digital age, which is unleashing new customer expectations, business models, and competitors. The Roundtable gives CEOs a digital toolkit and confidence to accelerate innovation and profitable growth at their companies.
Nominations for the 20 coveted spots can be submitted until October 25, 2012 to dcr@gvgcapital.com [please include CEO name, company, email address, your relationship]. CEOs will be selected based on (i) likelihood of accelerating digital innovation in their company and industry, and (ii) geographic and industry diversity. Last year, more than 300 CEOs were nominated from 25 countries. CEOs were then chosen from 8 industry sectors and 4 continents. Previous participants include CEOs from retail, finance, healthcare, media, fashion, education, high-tech, telecom and other sectors.
The innovative format of the Roundtable combines the three most effective CEO engagement models: (i) TED-like inspiring short presentations from digital visionaries; (ii) Aspen/Socratic Roundtable like interactive discussions of curated readings led by world class moderators; and (iii) YPO Forum-like peer feedback session on a CEO's digital opportunity.
The 2013 Roundtable focuses on digital transformation, innovation and talent; and will be moderated by some of the world's top digital practitioners: (i) Love Goel, Chairman/CEO of GVG Capital known as the Father of Multi-Channel Retail for transforming iconic brands into digital market leaders and helping to launch/grow the digital business of 100+ companies like Apple and Wal-Mart, (ii) Brandon Rowberry, VP of Innovation at $110 billion United Health Group, the world's largest and most admired health services company, and (iii) Chris Nadherny, Digital Practice Leader at Spencer Stuart, who has recruited dozens of digital CEOs/executives since he launched the practice in 1998.
