Ticketmaster app for iPhone Released in UK

Ticketmaster UK, a Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:LYV) company, today announced the successful launch of the free Ticketmaster UK iPhone® app.

iPhone users can use the free Ticketmaster app to discover events, browse event details and purchase tickets from the most comprehensive database of live entertainment events in the UK. As an extension of Ticketmaster.co.uk the app allows users to log into their MyTicketmaster account for a seamless purchasing experience*.

The Ticketmaster app for iPhone scans users' iTunes music library to understand music preferences and users can choose to have the iPhone's built-in location services activated to automatically recommend relevant upcoming local events. Fans can further personalise the recommended shows by using more than 40 preset filters.

The app also offers deep social media connections, allowing fans to easily Tweet and Facebook® during the discovery phase, after purchasing tickets and even access artists concert set lists, helping to extend the fun and excitement beyond the event itself. Users will also be able to receive notifications and alerts about the events that interest them direct to their phone, including information on last minute ticket availability.
