Are you an online poker superstar in-waiting? Do you want an opportunity to test your abilities, and hopefully pocket some fantastic cash prizes? Well it seems that you should enter the exciting and tense UK Online Poker Series!
The festival of poker is a little under three weeks away. With this being the case, satellites will be starting from Wednesday 10th October to give everybody a fair chance of participating in this fantastic event. With a guaranteed prize pool of £250,000, there promises to be much competition for each space.
Currently, there are 24 UKOPS events, with some of them even being broadcast live on Sky Poker TV. The first event of the series is set to start on 28th October at 8pm, with a total buy-in of £110 and a prize pool of £20,000. The game will be in a Bounty Hunter format, and each player will be given 4,000 chips. The first event will be televised, so even if you are not involved, make sure that you are watching!
But if those stakes sound a little bit too high for your poker budget, then you can always enjoy the Mini event that is happening on the same day. For a buy-in of £5.50, this Bounty Hunter tournament will have an amazing guarantee prize pool of £2,500. Play gets underway at 8.15pm.
The most spectacular of all of the UKOPS tournaments promises to be the Main Event, which is being held on the 4th November at 8pm. This event will also be available for your viewing pleasure on Sky Poker TV (Sky Channel 861), and it promises to be tense and exciting with a staggering £50,000 set to be won. With a buy-in of £220, this tournament is certainly not for the faint-hearted!
Again, coinciding with the Main Event will be a £10,000 Mini. For those not looking to break the bank, a £33 buy-in will allow players to take part in this fantastic competition!
