The Times and The Sunday Times are delighted to announce a major new initiative for its readers. From January 23 a marketing campaign launches which will offer new subscribers throughout London the opportunity of having their newspaper delivered free of charge for three months.
The Times has been running a home delivery service since 2008, however this is the first time the free trial will be offered along with a subscription price (previously customers paid full cover price).
Subscription customers also receive complimentary access to Times websites, Tablet editions and the smartphone app as well as the benefits of free membership to Times+.
In a relevant survey* 92% of home delivery customers said they would recommend the service. Copies of The Times are guaranteed to be hand delivered (couriered by branded vans) before 7am to addresses within the M25 area. This is will be on a free three month trial.
